Mounted Ball Bearings

Features of SST Mounted Ball Bearings:

• All of our inner races are shaft ready
• Fully self-aligning
• UC, HC, UCX, and SER type inserts are relubricatable  as standard
• Contact seals are standard
• Housings are made of Class 25 cast iron, all units are also available in ductile iron
• Operating temperatures up to 230° F (high temperature greases available)
• Available as complete units, inserts, and housings

Cast Iron Mounted Units. We offer a complete line of cast iron units: pillow blocks, two and four bolt flanges, takeup units, hanger units and specialty castings. They are equipped with a set screw or locking collar insert, in inch and metric shaft sizes, with or without a relube feature.

Ductile Iron Mounted Units. Available in pillow blocks and two or three bolt flanges as well as unique designs for special applications. Units can be purchased with or without a relubrication channel, with set screws or locking collar to secure the bearing to the shaft.

Pressed Steel Mounted Units. Stamped pressed steel housings are recommended for light duty applications such as small industrial fans, blowers, conveyors, go-carts and farm machinery. Set screws or locking collar secure bearing to the shaft. We have pillow blocks and two, three or four bolt flangettes.
